USA/Tokyo
Board Singapore Airlines trans-Pacific flight for Tokyo.
Cross International Date Line en route.
Day 2, - Tokyo
Arrive at Narita International Airport outside Tokyo.

Day 3, - Tokyo
Full-day excursion includes a panoramic view of the city
from atop Tokyo Tower, a tea ceremony, a Japanese
barbecue lunch, a boat ride up the Sumida River, and
visits to the Imperial Palace Plaza and the Asakusa
Kannon Temple. (B/L)
Day 4, Tokyo
A full day to explore the city on your own, or to join
optional tours. (B)
Day 5, - Tokyo/Beijing
Arrive in Beijing. Transfer to your hotel. (Qianmen

Day 6, - Beijing
Begin your exploration of this exciting city with a walk
through Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City former
home of the Emperors of China. This afternoon, visit the
Badaling section of the Great Wall of China , noted for
its many panoramic views (B/L/D)
Day 7, Beijing
/ Chongqing
Today you fly to Chongqing and in the evening board your
deluxe cruise ship for the Three Gorges river journey.
Nicknamed the "mountain city," Chongqing is renowned for
its unique scenic spots, especially the parks, and many
places of historical and cultural interest.(B, L, D)
Day 8 : On Yangtze River
Depending on river conditions, one of the following
shore excursions will be offered: Wanxian, "Gateway to
Eastern Chongqing City," tucked in between rolling
mountains ; Shibaozhai, with its 400-year-old, twelve
story red wooden pagoda high on a cliff side; or, Fengdu,
China's "Ghost City", where you will see ghost- and
devil-like statues at numerous temples.(B, L, D)
Day 9 : On Yangtze River
Head downstream through the first and second of the
three gorges-Qutang Gorge, the shortest but most
dramatic gorge, and Wu, known for its quiet beauty and
forest-covered mountains. You can nearly touch the
perpendicular walls rising from the riverbanks as your
captain negotiates this narrow gap. After lunch
disembark for your boat excursion down the crystal-clear
Daning River or the Shennong Stream, depending on local
conditions. Re-board your ship and continue through the
passage, sailing through the Three Gorges ship locks.(B,

Day 10: Yichang / Bankok
This morning you arrive Yang Jia Wang and visit the
Three Gorges Dam site, a controversial, immense
construction project that is the largest hydroelectric
and flood-control dam in the world. Sail to Yichang and
disembark your cruise ship before transferring to
Yichang airport for your flight to Bangkok (B, L,
D)

Day 11, - Bangkok
This morning's city tour includes visits to the Marble
Temple, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, and the huge
Reclining Buddha at Wat Po. In the afternoon visit the

Day 12, - Bangkok
Take a morning cruise along the Chao Phraya River and
the canals of the Thonburi section. Visit the Temple of
Dawn. Afternoon free. Tonight, enjoy Thai specialties
and traditional Thai dances. (B/D)
Day 13. Bangkok/Koh
Samui
Depart Bangkok for the beach; upon arrival into
Koh Samui you will be met transferred to your
beach front resort.
Day 14 and 15. Koh
Samui
Spend these days relaxing in the sun.
Koh Samui/Canada
Say goodbye to the Orient and depart Koh Samui
in the morning for flights home
Day 16, -
Bangkok/Singapore
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight to
Singapore. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. (York

After breakfast, take a city tour to see the waterfront,
China Town, Little India, and the botanical garden.
Tonight we gather for a dinner cruise through the

evening, view exotic animals on a unique night safari.

Transfer to the airport and return to the US on
